Overview

Ni 200 (UNS N02200) is a commercially pure wrought nickel alloy, composed of at least 99.6% nickel. Renowned for its exceptional corrosion resistance, high thermal and electrical conductivity, and magnetic properties, Ni 200 is a versatile material used across industries such as chemical processing, electronics, aerospace, and food production.

Key Features

1. High Purity: 99.6% minimum nickel content ensures reliability in sensitive environments.

2. Corrosion Resistance: Excellent performance in reducing and neutral environments, including alkalis and non-oxidizing acids.

3. Thermal & Electrical Conductivity: Ideal for heat exchangers, electrical components, and sensors.

4. Formability: Easily fabricated via hot/cold working and machining, with post-processing annealing (705–790°C).

5. Magnetic Properties: Suitable for applications requiring ferromagnetic behavior.

Applications

Chemical Processing: Equipment for caustic solutions, chlorine handling, and reactor components.

Electronics: Battery casings, semiconductor parts, and conductive springs.

Aerospace: Fuel cell and sensor components.

Food Production: Non-reactive machinery for processing and storage.

Marine: Pump shafts and valves resistant to seawater corrosion.
