S30815 (253MA) is a rare earth element (Ce) reinforced austenitic stainless steel with high heat resistance, specially designed for extremely high-temperature oxidation environments (up to 1150°C). Its core advantage lies in the addition of high chromium (20-22%), high silicon (1.4-2.0%) and cerium, which work together to form a dense and anti-spalling chromium oxide/silicon oxide composite protective layer, significantly enhancing the resistance to high-temperature oxidation, carburization/sulfidation and thermal shock.
It is mainly applied to high-temperature components in industrial furnaces and energy fields, such as heat treatment furnace rollers, radiant tubes, petrochemical cracking furnace supports, waste incinerator superheaters, cement kiln preheaters and glass kiln accessories. Its cost performance in harsh environments ranging from 900 to 1150°C is significantly better than that of traditional 310S stainless steel, making it an ideal material choice for high-temperature equipment.
