316Ti (S31635) has better mechanical properties and strength at high temperatures. Exhibits higher corrosion resistance due to the addition of titanium. Properties are similar to those of alloy 316 except that 316Ti due to its Titanium addition can be used at elevated sensitization temperatures. Corrosion resistance is improved, particularly against sulfuric, hydrochloric, acetic, formic and tartaric acids, acid sulfates and alkaline chlorides.
